It’s been over 20 years since Pokémon came out, and with the popularity of Pokémon Go everyone is crazy about Pokémon again. These values are based off of real sold prices on eBay. However, condition is everything, so only the cards kept in the best condition will sell for these prices. Basically, if you played with your Pokémon cards as a kid they are probably beat up and not worth nearly as much as these.
It’s also important to note that all of these cards are Shadowless. Only the first run of the Base Set cards has this design. An easy way to tell if your card is shadowless is to look at the bottom of the card. If it says “1995, 96, 98, 99 … 1999 Wizards.” then you have a Shadowless card. Furthermore, If you have these dates at the bottom and a first edition symbol you have an even rarer card. Another difference with the shadowless and shadow cards was that the first run of cards had slightly different coloring and font.
If you like these kind of videos like and share. Also, let me know if you have any of these rare cards or if they got lost over time.
