Have you ever wanted to “go down to South Park”? Thanks to Comedy Central , you can! They reconstructed so many ironic moments from the series just for San Diego Comic Con.
The cool thing about this experience is that it’s completely free, so that means there is no badge needed. As many people know by now Comic Con is very difficult to score badges for. But, the good news is that this year there are more free events than ever before. This particular attraction was mainly a photo opportunity. The staff was there to take pictures of you with the cutouts with your camera or phone.
There even was a separate line behind the South Park Experience where they digitally inserted you into South Park with your favorite character. Personally, I chose Mysterion, but they had almost any character that you could think of. Butters and ManBearPig where also popular. They even printed out two photos out for you, and emailed you a copy. This was also free, which surprised me.
The last part of the experience had all props from the Coon and Friends. This area was promoting the new South Park video game, The Fractured But Whole. The best part about this section was that they created fake comic books for each Coon and Friends hero. Plus if you pre-ordered the game on-site they gave you a free Coon patch.
