By now most people probably know that Funko has three semi-monthly subscription services where they send you 100 percent exclusive items every other month. My favorite is the Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty, but the DC Legion of Collectors and Marvel Collector’s Corps have good items too. This month’s theme was Bounty Hunters, and it’s one of the best boxes to date. As many of you know that these three boxes always start off with a pin and a patch, and this month was no exception. From this point on there will be spoilers, so if you haven’t opened your box yet, why are you reading this.
I especially love the Boba Fett patch and in fact the patches are the second biggest reasons why I like this subscription so much. Not only do subscribers get a high quality patch every month but the pin has some nice quality to it as well. Neither the patch or the pin ever feels cheap.
I love the design of this month’s shirt, but unfortunately the shirts do feel very thin every month. That being said lately the shirts have had a slim feel to them, so as you can imagine they don’t fit like that particular size should fit. That’s very disappointing to me, and after all this shirt is really cool. It just feels a size smaller than they advertise.
It’s disappointing that the shirt doesn’t fit right, but that not why I subscribe to this box. The true reason is for the Exclusive Funko Pops, and I love it when Funko includes two Pops instead of a mug or one of there other figure. The bottom line is that these two Funko Pops makes the entire box completely worth it.
